Undergraduate student researchers added scores of additional cement reef balls to expand an artificial reef in the Thames River, at the edge of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­â€™s campus, in June. The effort, designed to restore natural ecosystems and reverse erosion at the edge of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­â€™s campus, comes as part of a $177,00 grant awarded to Maria Rosa, the George & Carol Milne Assistant Professor of Biology at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­.
